CarterMarsh is able to work with PCT's to assist them in delivering their health targets appropriate to their local health needs.

We support PCT's in a number of different ways:

Prescribing costs savings – we can offer advice on which products are new to the market and could save the PCT prescribing costs. Our advice has allowed PCT's to save between £200,000 and £1.2m on an annualised basis.

Support for existing services – When did you last update your MAS scheme for example. Is it cost effective still, are the newest and best products on the formulary, is the product pricing up to date. These as well as product information and protocol updates are areas we can assist the PCT to ensure the services they have up and running are maintained.

New Services – we have a range of services created in therapeutic areas that can be easily modified to suit local requirements. These services can be commissioned and run by the PCT or other suppliers and can be delivered through any patient touch point ie surgeries, pharmacies etc.

Consultancy – we also offer a consultancy service to PCT's that provides resource and expertise in looking at their service requirements in respect to their local healthcare needs. This can be as little or as much as the PCT requires and is focussed on achieving a plan for the PCT to move forward.
